Eddie Jordan took over the reigns this season as the 76ers coach and to be perfectly honest with you this team has shown pretty much nothing. Philly is 5-6 SU but a poor 3-8 ATS with the only cover over the past few weeks coming a six point defeat as the seven point pup in Chicago. They have actually failed to cover in six of the last seven games.
 
I’m not sure if the 76ers are missing Andre Miller who moved on or what but these guys have just not been playing in any kind of rhythm. There is a lot of talent as Elton Brand is back somewhat healthy to complement a very good Andre Iguodala. Plus throw in some solid young kids like Lou Williams, Marreese Speights and Thadeus Young but there hasn’t been a lot of success thus far and even though the Grizzlies are far from being a good team they do have a lot more talent than people realize.
 
Memphis has some players. No that doesn’t always make for a good team and especially when a franchise has the losing culture which they do but Mayo, Gasol, Gay and Randolph can seriously stack up with almost any other four players on any team and with LeBron and the Cavs up next on Saturday for Philly I can see today’s home chalk look past Memphis a bit in this spot.
 
The bottom line is that until the 76ers outclass anybody at all I will go against them when they are a solid touchdown or so favorite like this.
