NBC Sunday Night Football Preview From Bodog Sportsbook: Panthers-Vikings |
| Dec 20th, 2009 It’s NBC Sunday
night football or as they call it Football Night in America. Bodog takes a look at it
from a betting standpoint. Percy Harvin is expected to play for the Vikings
according to Cy McCormick of the MasterLockLine, the bamboo bike of sports
betting. Brett Favre
will look to help the Minnesota Vikings clinch their second straight division
title when they visit the Carolina Panthers on Sunday night, although he may
not have rookie standout Percy Harvin to throw to. NFL football
betting odds have the Vikings listed as 9-point road favorites. A return by
Harvin, who sat out last week with migraine headaches, would give the Vikings’
offense a boost. The first-year player, though, is still struggling with the
problem and his status for Sunday is uncertain. Harvin, one of
Favre’s favorite third-down targets, is second on the team with 681 receiving
yards and six touchdowns. He is also averaging 29.0 yards on kickoff returns,
second in the league, with two TDs. Minnesota will
be visiting Carolina for the first time in four years. The Panthers have lost
three of four and are coming off a 20-10 defeat to New England on Sunday. Get your NFL
Odds in the Bodog Sportsbook! Top expert pick on this game: It was a 5-2 performance Saturday and the bowls this year are like all others: we start out 2-0 and our third pick is the biggest one yet. It is the biggest football card this year. The first Wise Guy of the bowl season is on the MTSU-Southern Miss side, plus a Major on the total. But in the NFL it’s the Moneyline Game of the Year—an outright underdog winner. Plus there are three Wise Guy NFL sides plus three additional NFL Majors.
