The NFL spreads are grabbing some headlines as the Philadelphia Eagles released Brian Westbrook, the San Diego Chargers did the same with LaDainian Tomlinson.

ESPN suspended Tony Kornheiser, co-host of PTI for making a politically incorrect mark about Hannah Storm. Meanwhile the Canada vs. Germany odds at Bodog has Team Canada a 4.5 goal favorite or -4570 on the moneyline.

The Canadian team lost 5-3 to the United States on Sunday night, which kept them from getting a bye into the quarterfinal round of the event. The United States, Sweden, Russia, and Finland all earned byes directly into the quarterfinals, which will take place Wednesday.
