Spurs-Suns Free Pick, Historic Bet on Celtics-Cavs |
| May 7th, 2010 As he breaks down how the
Cubs calling up Starlin Castro will affect his MLB handicapping, OffshoreInsiders.com Senior Handicapper Matt Rivers has a free sports pick on the San
Antonio Spurs. They are laying 6.5 at the sportsbooks.
It definitely scares the
living bejesus out of me to lay around half a dozen against the red hot Suns
but I liked the Spurs in the first two games and got burned and cannot just
ship now back home. Phoenix boasts a pair of superstars in Nash and Stoudemire
and are running that pick and roll to perfection thus
far in the playoffs. It looks so good at times I feel as if I am
watching Stockton and Malone but San Antonio is no joke and will show it once
again here back home. This is as do or die as a
game can ever get without that phrase being literal. Duncan, Parker and
Ginobili have not been clicking in this series and I give Alvin Gentry’s
defense some credit but things are going to get exponentially harder today on
the road for the Suns. With their raucous crowd
and the home court advantage I do believe we can see the Spurs get back to
their basics and stay in this series. Phoenix’ defense is still not one of
the better ones in the league and without a doubt can be exploited by an
experienced and talent laden team which these Spurs still definitely are, older
or not. San Antonio is a team that
has some treads on its tires and maybe not as dangerous as in years’ past but
the big three is still intact and other pieces like Hill, Jefferson and
Blair are really good as well. The Suns are probably
playing at too high of a level to just blown out in but after 48 minutes today
this series will get tighter and I’m looking at about a 10 point San Antonio
victory. The pick: San Antonio at BetUs For more information: A 400,000* winner on the Magic on Thursday and now I step things up and improve to 5-1 all-time in the playoffs with my 500,000* in this joke of a game between the Cavaliers and Celtics. When I say this is a double-digit burial I mean this is a double-digit burial! Three plays in all today as I have a pair of bonus 100,000* on the diamond with San Diego and Houston along with New York and Boston. Click now to purchase |
