Spoiler Alert: Braves Beat Diamondbacks Tuesday Night |
| Jun 8th, 2010 The Lakers vs. Celtics picks headline
tonight but plenty of time to beat the MLB odds. Handicapper have money flowing like Lakeview Gusher just in
time for the FIFA World Cup. Tired out
touts with the competence of DirecTV customer service or the singing ability of
Danielle Stub? Super
handicapper Matt Rivers has another free pick tonight and it’s on
the Atlanta Braves. They are -100 at Arizona according to Bodog Kris Medlen was great in that rare last start in Los Angeles and
I’ll roll with him and his superior Braves here at
what appears to me to be a cheap enough price. Edwin Jackson
was also lights out in his last start coincidentally in Chavez Ravine and has
now put back-to-back quality outings together after the awful start to the
season but I just feel that the harder hitting Bravos have a much better shot
to wreak some havoc against Jackson than the fairly weak Diamondbacks have
against Medlen. Bobby Cox’
squad has shaken off the slow first six or so weeks to the season and have
proven to be a very good club, if not elite. We all know about Jason Heyward
and his incredible upside. Throw in McCann, Glaus,
Prado, Escobar and maybe even a little Chipper if he is healthy enough and
you are looking at a team that is fairly scary. I’m not comparing these guys to
the 1917 Yankees but right now the Braves are really really
good and a semi force. Arizona does
have some upside with Reynolds and Upton but they still are not
exactly an offensive club that one can trust. The snakes have the potential to
shrivel up a bit and I can see that taking place today against a young and
talented enough righty in Medlen as the Braves win
yet another game. I just don’t
see the home squad having another five run outburst in an inning and taking a
second straight from these Bravos, no how no way. The pick: Atlanta at SportsBook For more information: It’s 18 of 29 winning days now after the small winning Monday. The 300,000* Angels took care of business in Oakland as the red hot run continues. I am right at 3.5 million* of profit in the last month and have three more fire-hot 300,000* locks today. Pittsburgh-Washington as the Strasburg era begins, Houston and Colorado from Coors and surging clubs in the Padres and Mets from New York. Three plays, three winners, just like usual!
