Cam Newton Benched Odds Hotter Than Lori Darling David Pics
Nov 12th, 2010

Sports picks are hotter than Lori Darling David photos or the revolt against TSA.

Three things are inevitable: Cam Newton will be declared ineligible, though he will likely be benched first as a “good will gesture” by a desperate Auburn. Brad Childress will get fired by the Vikings and Erik Spoelstra will be fired by the Miami Heat so Pat Riley can present himself as the knight in shining armor to rescue the team.

Grandmaster Sports Handicapper Joe Duffy, CEO of OffshoreInsiders.com, the top sports betting site in the world has set the odds on what will happen first:

Cam Newton benched (does not include official permanent banning): -190

Erik Spoelstra fired by Miami Heat: +110

Brad Childress fired by Minnesota Vikings: +120

Colliding on the gridiron . . .

There are two college football games on the Friday schedule, with Ball State at Buffalo (-3), and No. 4 Boise State (-34.5) at Idaho. The fourth-ranked Broncos (8-0 SU, 6-2 ATS) demolished Hawaii 42-7 at home last week, with Kellen Moore throwing for 507 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions. Jeremy Avery ran for three scores for Boise State in that contest. The Vandals (4-5 SU, 3-5 ATS) are coming off an ugly 63-17 home loss to Nevada, as Nathan Enderle was held to 224 yards and one TD pass. Boise State bounced Idaho 63-25 when the teams met on the field last November.

Ball State vs. Buffalo, Boise State vs. Idaho. This is big. Really, really big. The Great One Stevie Vincent is 13-6 overall and 9-2 in football. Get the Friday Night Parlay of a Lifetime up now. Both collegiate sides are up. Click now to purchase

Tipping off on the hardwood . . .

The NBA offers up nine games on Friday, with Utah at Atlanta, Houston at Indiana, Toronto at Orlando, Charlotte at Washington, New York at Minnesota, Philadelphia at Dallas, Sacramento at Phoenix, Detroit at the Clippers, and Portland at Oklahoma City. The Trail Blazers (6-3 SU, 5-3-1 ATS) are coming off an easy 100-78 home win over the Pistons on Tuesday night, with LaMarcus Aldridge leading the way with 19 points and 17 rebounds. Brandon Roy had 11 points for the Blazers that day. Portland hosted the Thunder last Thursday, falling 107-106 in overtime. Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook each scored 28 points for the Thunder that day. Aldridge had 22 points for Portland.

As well, the college basketball schedule gets underway in earnest on Friday, with eight games involving Top-10 teams: N.C. Wilmington at No. 9 Florida, Lipscomb at No. 8 North Carolina, N.C. A&T at No. 4 Ohio State, Northern Iowa at No. 10 Syracuse, Bucknell at No. 6 Villanova, Longwood at No. 7 Kansas, James Madison at No. 3 Kansas State, and Eastern Michigan at No. 2 Michigan State. The second-ranked Spartans are listed at 9-1 odds to come out on top at the NCAA Tournament this season. Another rock solid basketball season is underway as GodsTips is 12-7 with hoop picks. Taking a trip around the rink . . .

Finally, there are six games on the National Hockey League schedule for Friday, with Edmonton at New Jersey, Tampa Bay at Pittsburgh, Minnesota at Florida, Calgary at Phoenix, Dallas at Anaheim, and Colorado at Columbus. The Avalanche last played on Tuesday night, falling 4-2 at home to Calgary. Brandon Yip and Chris Stewart scored for Colorado in that contest, while Peter Budaj stopped 21 of 24 Calgary shots. Colorado played host to Columbus back on October 30, picking up a 5-1 victory. Stewart, David Jones, David Liffiton, Paul Stastny, and Cody McLeod scored for the Avs in that win, and Derick Brassard replied for the Jackets. Budaj made 33 saves to record the victory.
